1. The excavator does not idle
There are two situations when the excavator does not idle:
1). After selecting automatic idle speed and the pilot valve does not work under high-speed working conditions, the system should automatically return to the idle position; if there is no response, please disconnect the signal line of the pressure switch (generally there are two adjustable arm and walking ones) On, if the system’s automatic idle speed is normal (the automatic idle speed has a delay function, and the holding time should be more than 5S during inspection), the pressure switch is damaged; if it is abnormal, check whether the pressure switch signal line is short-circuited to ground. If not, The short circuit phenomenon is an internal fault of the controller.
2). After the pilot valve operates when the engine is idling, the electronically controlled throttle cannot return to the high-speed working position before idling. The inspection method is the same as item 1.
Note: The adjustment methods of the pressure switch are opposite in the above two situations.
2. The electric throttle does not work
How to determine if the electric throttle does not work:
1). Use a multimeter to measure the output of the throttle knob (please refer to the comparison table for specific parameters) and whether the connection line to the controller is correct;
2). You can select the switch to emergency mode to determine whether the connection line to the throttle motor is normal; if it is abnormal, please check the connection line between the controller and the throttle motor; if it is normal, it can be determined that the throttle controller is faulty.
