Product Description

The steering wheel shakes when the Howo 7 Dump Truck is traveling, the front end swings from side to side in the transverse plane, and the driving is unstable. The main reasons for this are:
(1) unbalanced steering wheel movement;
2) Incorrect positioning of the front wheel;
(3) The large amount of wheel deflection;
4) Steering transmission mechanism movement interference;
5) axle and frame deformation;
6) unequal stiffness of left and right suspensions, shock absorber failure, guide failure, etc.

Diagnosis and exclusion:
1) Appearance inspection: check whether the shock absorber failure, if oil leakage or failure, should be replaced; check whether the left and right suspension springs are broken or uneven, if there is a replacement of suspension springs; check whether the connection of suspension springs is loose, steering transmission mechanism has no movement interference, if any should be ruled out;

(2) support up the side of the middle and rear drive axle, the front wheels with cushion wood pads, start the engine and gradually make the vehicle into high-speed gear, so that the drive axle to reach the speed of the body vibration. If the body and steering wheel vibration, it is caused by the transmission system.

(3) check whether the front wheels are biased: support the front axle, place a scratching needle on the front rim, turn the wheel slowly, observe whether the rim is too large, if so, the rim should be replaced;

(4) Remove the front wheel, check the dynamic balance of the front wheel on the dynamic balancer, and install the balancing block according to the amount of unevenness;

(5) If the above checks are normal, then check the frame, axle deformation, with the front wheel alignment instrument to check and adjust the front wheel alignment.
